E8 is scheduled to be released 🚀 this Sunday, May 1st:

• Partner Portal documentation 📜 is available and integrated with the portal itself!

• Partners with shared access to an organization can now configure settings for all devices 📷 in the org - making it easier than ever to help fleet managers.

• Partners can also enable/disable shared access to an already existing org - making it easier to update orgs as the needs of a fleet manager evolve.

• And more!

🔧 Our toolbox has fixed some snags: 🔨

• A retry webRTC was missing from the sample application in the Developer Portal - it no longer is ✅

• Users were receiving false alarms - they no longer are ✅

• Partners could manage external users of an org despite not owning the data - now, only users in the Surfsight Portal can do this ✅

• Partners couldn’t change the billing status of some devices - they now can ✅

Coming soon 😎:

• Driver service management 🚗: events and trips associated with an individual driver, who can check-in via API. Add, edit, retrieve, or delete drivers.

• Looking forward: further enhancements to the driver service, delete an organization, posted speeds, data usage enhancements (billing date of the month), and more 🌞
