Supporting collaboration across fleets and organizations

As you all probably already know, we’ve started releasing a variety of features that support collaboration between partners, and collaboration with “external” users.

Going forward, please refrain from using the term mixed fleets when discussing any these features. Mixed fleets, in our industry, refers to fleets that consist of multiple types of vehicles. For this and other reasons, using the term for our product features can cause confusion.

Our Release Notes documents and other product documentation correctly refer to these features with descriptive phrases. You can refer to these documents for help in describing any of the Surfsight features.

Important update regarding aux cams supply chain

To all Surfsight teams:

We are all aware of the current situation regarding aux cam supply and we are currently working on composing appropriate messaging in collaboration with our Legal team. Messaging is expected to be delivered to you no later than Thursday end of day.

Until then, we ask for your patience and discretion. Please conduct business as usual: refraining from discussing any potential issues whatsoever with any and all parties outside of Lytx employees until official messaging is distributed.

AI-14 dashcam messaging

It has come to our attention that some partners may be inquiring about the AI-14 model. We are not ready to go to market with this product and have not received final approvals or certifications for this model.

Accordingly, we are releasing very specific messaging instructions, per persona, designed to help mitigate the rumors and ensure healthy communication with our partners and their customers.

The messaging instructions is an internal document only and is not to be shared externally at all.
Make sure you notice there is separate messaging based on persona.

Ending support for wired aux cameras
